Business Technology with Sustainability at the Core
A note from James Loffler
At Loffler, sustainability is not a marketing line for us. It is a set of everyday choices about how we operate and how we serve customers. We focus on practical actions that reduce waste, save energy, and limit unnecessary travel, like keeping most work orders digital, resolving issues remotely when possible, and recycling supplies and electronics responsibly.

Business technology with sustainability at the core
Sustainability matters. Lessening our footprint benefits our customers, partners, employees, and the communities where we live and work. From recycling the smallest toner bottles to making thoughtful decisions about how we design our facilities and deliver service, Loffler is committed to doing our part for a healthier future. Our approach is intentional and practical. We focus on actions that make a real difference today while helping our customers operate more efficiently tomorrow.
How we put sustainability into action:
Reduce
- 95% of our work orders are digital, helping reduce paper use across our organization.
- Many IT and print service issues are resolved remotely when possible, reducing unnecessary travel and fuel consuption.
Reuse
- Rather than demolish and rebuild, we re imagined our 150,000 square foot headquarters to extend the life of the existing structure and reduce construction waste.
- Our headquarters includes energy saving features such as blinds with sun sensors, lights with motion sensors, and window film that supports temperature control and lowers energy use.
Smarter service delivery
- When onsite service is required, we use smaller service territories to reduce driving time and emissions.
- Many of our service vehicles are hybrids or rated for high miles per gallon to improve overall fleet efficiency.
Recycle
- We recycle printer and copier drums, imaging units, and toner bottles.
- Cardboard and packaging from purchased products are recycled whenever possible.
- Plastics and metals from used electronics are recycled, and lead from circuit boards is recaptured and reused in new products.

Helping customers reduce their footprint
Sustainability does not stop with our internal operations. A big part of our commitment is helping customers reduce waste, lower energy use, and operate more efficiently.
Through managed print services, energy efficient devices, and smarter IT solutions, we help organizations reduce consumption, extend the life of their technology, and lower total cost of ownership while supporting environmental goals.
