Jim Loffler

Jim is the founder, president and CEO of Loffler Companies. He started the company in 1986 with one other employee, his wife, Darcy. They began selling Philips dictation machines and typewriters, then expanded to fax, copiers, IP Phones; IT managed services and much more. Today, the company employs over 400 team members and focuses on long-term relationships. Jim was named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Finalist in 2011 and 2014. Jim’s success is based on the philosophy that became Loffler’s mission statement, “To exceed expectations of clients, employees, partners and community.”

Loffler Companies has been recognized as one of Minnesota’s Top 100 Workplaces by the Star Tribune for four consecutive years, and the Minnesota Business Journal for three consecutive years. Named to Inc 5000 magazine’s list of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for seven straight years, Loffler is also an official technology provider partner to the Minnesota Vikings football team, Minnesota Timberwolves basketball team, Minnesota Lynx women’s basketball team, Minnesota Wild hockey team, University of Minnesota Gopher Athletics and St Cloud State Huskies Hockey program.

Jim has been married for 38 years to his junior high school sweetheart. They have two children and four grandsons. In his spare time, Jim enjoys golfing, boating, cooking, photography, music and traveling.
